Jequi Kennedy wanted on charges in attempted robbery and shooting

Local News

Two of three fugitives are in police custody, wanted on charges in an attempted robbery and shooting.

18 year old Marciano Jones and 20 year old Keyshawn Fletcher were apprehended by the US Marshalls Fugitive Task Force in Erie.  26 year old Jequi Kennedy remains on the loose.

Police say the men were involved in a shooting, injuring a 43 year old Millcreek man in the 600 block of East 11th Street on August 6th after he responded to a Craig’s List Ad.  The victim met with 18 year old Alyssa Stafford, who was arrested earlier this month.  He was reportedly shot as he fled the home after the three men attempted to rob him.

Charges could be filed on the victim in this case, as well.

EPD Chief, Don Dacus, tells us, “given the activity that brought him to that area, we are looking at that as a criminal investigation as well”.

Kennedy is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact Erie Police at (814) 870-1125.
