An Erie teenager who was charged as an adult in a violent attack learns his fate in court. 16 year old Anzyrie Henderson is sentenced to one to two years behind bars. The judge adjusting the sentence slightly to keep Henderson out of State Prison and in Erie County Prison.
Henderson pleaded guilty to burglary in a plea agreement with the state. Henderson admitted to breaking into a woman’s home in the 300 block of Cherry Street and to threatening the woman, holding a knife to her throat. He said prior to being sentenced, he planned to take a cable box and sneakers.
Henderson is also sentenced to 10 years probation. He’s facing additional charges including a weapons charge and a harassment charge for incident while he’s been in prison.
