A man convicted of killing his wife is now facing a civil trial.
A jury found John Grazioli guilty of first-degree murder for the shooting death of his wife, Amanda Grazioli. While the criminal case unfolded, the civil case was put on hold. However, today, a judge lifted the stay in the civil case.
There will be at least 120 days of discovery before a trial date is set.
Grazioli will face a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole for the criminal conviction.
The victim’s family is now going after his assets in the civil trial.
