Jumping for A.N.N.A.

JUMP FOR ANNA

John Reilly is a teacher, fitness enthusiast and dog lover.  On Sunday he took on his second independent fundraising challenge; jumping rope for 3 and a half hours straight!  Last year he jumped for 3 hours to raise money for SafeNet.

This time around, he was inspired by a dog the A.N.N.A. Shelter rescued from an abusive owner.  Grace was left in a shed in Erie for more than a month this past winter.  She was found starving and frostbitten.  Since January when she was found, she’s made a full recovery.  Seeing this hard work made Reilly want to support the shelter and all it does.  He raised hundreds of dollars to give back.  He hopes more people find creative ways to give back to their community, as he did.
As for Grace, she is still waiting for someone to adopt her.  If you are interested in giving Grace a home, you can contact the ANNA Shelter at (814) 451-0230.
