Labor negotiations between Wabtec & UE Local 506 have appeared to be stalled on some major issues.
According to the union’s latest bulletin to its members, four days of talks took place this week with “little progress to report. The two sides have not reached an agreement on the company’s proposed two-tier wage system. Mandatory overtime also remains a major sticking point. The union reports the next round of talks won’t begin until May 7th.
The 90 day agreement that ended a nine day strike was announced March 7th.
