More than 1500 band members from all over the country performed at Vet’s stadium. The 33rd annual
Lake Erie fanfare Drum Corps International competition could be heard from miles away. This event pits young musicians and performers against one another in a tough musical competition.
Groups from Oregon, Wisconsin, California, Texas and Wyoming all took the field in elaborate costumes.
The drum and bugle corps groups consisted of brass and percussion instrument and color guards.
The teams made up of 12 to 22 year- olds, who all spend the summer touring the country.
The national competition is next week.
