Lake Erie water levels break February record

The rising Lake Erie water levels break a record for the month of February.

According to the report from the U-S Army Corps of Engineers, the current lake levels have surpassed the old record set in 1987.

The same report indicates Lake Erie is almost 3 ft. above it’s long term average.

According to the corps of engineers six month forecast, the lake will likely set new monthly record high levels through May.
