Large Item Trash Pick Up Begins Tonight.

The City of Erie’s Single Large Item PIck Up Program starts tonight. There are restrictions on what you can put out but residents can put out ONE large item each week on their regular trash pick up day. Items are restricted to normal household type items such as couches, chairs, tables, dressers etc. NO ELECTRONICS accepted, such as TVs, computers, computer monitors. Other items NOT accepted are: large appliances such as washers or dryers, refrigerators, hot water tanks, air conditioners, car batteries, tires, hazardous fluids or construction debris.

Also, the city asks that you put these items out for collection no more than 24 hours in advance of your normal pick up day.

Now’s your chance to get rid of Uncle Fred’s ugly recliner!
