Calling all appetites! An event on Saturday aims to satisfy the hungry belly.
The first ever Erie Food Truck Festival is taking place at GE Field in Lawrence Park. This will be a huge event. 16 local operators will be joined by five bands and six local brewers.
The festival has been organized to benefit the Iroquois School District Foundation. It’s a non-profit organization that serves to enhance the educational opportunities for all district students.
Kate Philips, Chairperson for the festival, says, “The food truck craze has been hitting the nation for several years now, but it’s really swelling up in Erie right now. I think because it’s so much fun. Food truck operators are here because they want to be. They work hard, you stand in line with people you might not know”.
The Erie Food Truck Festival will take place Saturday, June 2nd at GE Fields at Water and Main streets in Lawrence Park. The event will take place from 1pm-8pm and tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets until 11:59pm tonight by clicking here or they will be available at the venue that day.
