The mother of shooting victim Amanda Grazioli has gone to court, suing Amanda’s husband, John Grazioli for her wrongful death.
Police arrested John Grazioli after he told a priest that he had shot his wife, Amanda, as she lay sleeping in her bed March 8th. He is now in prison awaiting the trial for her murder.
The Philadelphia attorney representing Amanda’s mother, Denise, told Action News that the family has the utmost respect for the District Attorney’s Office, but wanted the added pressure of a civil suit, too.
“It’s difficult to envision a more cowardly and ungodly act than shooting and killing one’s wife,” Attorney Adam Barrist told Action News, “especially one as brilliant, beautiful, and full of life as Amanda.”
