JET 24/ FOX 66 spoke with some fans about kapernick’s decision to remain seated.
” This is the United States of America you should be happy to be here if not, pack your crap and go, ” said Rick Chervinski when asked about the 49ers decision.
” As long as it is peaceful and as long as he is not hurting, he’s not calling anybody out, he is taking a stand for something that he really believes in, so you can’t fault him for that, ” said Josh Mitchell at the Seawolves game.
Kapernick explained his decision to the media, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.”
