Local leaders want to improve transportation in Erie and they’re looking for your feedback to do it.
Today, the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority is hosting public meetings for its Transit Development Plan. Organizers want public input to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the existing transit system.
The plan is expected to improve EMTA services for customers and drivers over a five-year period.
Executives with EMTA are presenting potential service improvements based on a compressive analysis of existing routes. That data was collected through surveys and a series of previous public meetings.
The next public meeting will be tonight at 6pm at the Intermodal Second Floor Conference Room on the Bayfront Parkway.
