A local Catholic school changes their name.
Our Lady’s Christian School is now known as ‘Saint Jude School’ after a name-changing ceremony.
The name change comes after the launch of the Erie Catholic School System this past July. ‘Saint Jude’ families, teachers, and parishioners gathered for the ceremony. President of the Erie Catholic School System, Damon Finazzo, tells us, “We are carrying forward a lot of the traditions that came before it was renamed, but then going forward, adding another patron saint, in addition to our blessed mother, Saint Jude to be with us throughout our prayers and intercessions.”
The school also unveiled a new logo.
