Local school gives away free uniforms

Grover Cleveland Elementary School is making it as easy as they can for students to get ready to go back to class. 
Hundreds of people lined West 38th Street for a school uniform giveaway. The students picking out colored shirts, dress pants, and school t- shirts, all free. 
Grover Cleveland’s  Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) worked to collect donations all year in preparation for the event open to all students in the Erie School District. 
The students also got free hair cuts and other supplies.
” It helps when you can’t really go out and get it on your own so it helps like all these people, ” said Shannon McDonald getting ready for her daughter Alyssa to start Kindergarten.
Grover Cleveland is still in need of uniform donations, they can be drooped off all year at the school on West 38th Street.
