Man accused of killing wife and stepdaughter, Regis Brown, formally arraigned today

A man charged in a high-profile murder case will face trial in September.  

Today, 59-year-old Regis Brown returned to the Erie County courthouse for his formal arraignment.  Brown is charged with the murder of his wife and stepdaughter.  The crimes allegedly happening in the defendant’s Fairview home in March.  

Investigators say Brown killed both victims while his granddaughter was in the home.  

The District Attorney’s Office is seeking a first-degree murder conviction. 

Trial is set for September 17th.
