Sebardundi Yohana has been arrested in the fatal hit and run on Buffalo Road that killed six year old Nyon Warren. After striking the child Yohana kept driving. The accident happened on April 3rd around 8:45 pm. “It’s satisfying on our perspective that we’re able to bring some closure to the family,” said chief of police Dan Spizarny.
The vehicle is owned by First Time Learners Academy. During the course of the investigation police collected numerous camera surveillance footage from businesses, residents, and government buildings. A total of 50 different locations.
Police received a total of 70 tips for the investigation. The vehicle was identified through specific characteristics and non working vehicle equipment. “He provided us with some information that offered reassurance that he was the driver in the vehicle but it didn’t go beyond that,” said Deputy Chief of Erie Police Department Mike Nolan.
Yohana’s charges include involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving, and obedience to traffic control devices. Yohana is being arraigned his bond is set at $50,000.
