ERIE, Pa. – A man who is charged with attempted robbery and terroristic threats in August for allegedly robbing Dee’s Cigar Store was in court for another charge Thursday.
Nahmar Green, 20, is facing charges that he robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Buffalo Road on Aug. 7.
KFC employees testified that Green, who was a former employee at the fast-food restaurant, stole $2,200.
Green pleaded not guilty during his preliminary hearing in front of District Judge Mark R. Krahe Thursday. All charges were bond over for trial.
Green is also charged with attempting to rob at Dee’s Cigar Store, 1705 State St., on Aug 17.
Police said Green entered the store wearing a “Scream” masked and pointed a fake gun at the store owner, Frank Adiutori, and demanded money.
Adiutori, 66, was charged with reckless endangerment for firing shots at Green as he fled from the store.
Green is also charged with attempting to rob the store a day prior to the Aug. 17 incident.
Green’s preliminary hearing in that case is scheduled for Oct. 5.
