Man gets 1-2 years behind bars for operating meth lab out of his parents’ home

Local News

A man involved in a suspected family meth operation is facing time behind bars.

Today, a judge sentenced Devin Palmer to 12-24 months in jail with credit for time served followed by three years of probation.

Palmer was arrested with his brother after investigators say they were running a meth lab out of their home with a teenager living there.  Both parents were arrested later.

The suspected meth lab is on North Main Street in Elgin Borough.  The Palmer parents still say they had nothing to do with the manufacturing or distributing of meth.
