Man gets 14 months for using knife to kidnap and hold a woman against her will

A man accused of holding a woman against her will and threatening to kill her will face trial. 

Today, Josue Molina-Torres had a preliminary hearing in Erie County Court.  Police say he held a kitchen knife to a woman’s throat and told her she couldn’t leave the apartment. The crime happening on a residence in a residence in the 700 block of East 14th Street. 

Today, a judge sentenced Molina-Torres to 14-60 months in a state correctional institution.  He was sentenced on several charges, including making terroristic threats, possession of a weapon, and simple assault.
