A man accused of beating his cell mate to death at SCI Albion has pled guilty to the crime.
25-year-old Trevon Coleman is charged with stabbing and beating his cell mate Job Knighton to death while in the Albion prison.
Investigators believe an argument between the two led to the stabbing with a homemade weapon.
In exchange for his guilty plea the D.A.’s office lowered the criminal homicide charge to third degree murder and dropped all other charges.
Coleman is facing up to 40 years in prison and will be sentenced June 2nd.
