A man wanted for murder of his cousin and captured after two months of hiding pleaded guilty for the shooting death of his cousin on Wednesday.
Jamee Husband, 20, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and carrying a firearm without a license for the shooting death of his cousin Vante Husband outside of the now closed Up the Way Bar & Grille on Aug. 21, 2015.
Vante Husband died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
All other charges were dropped in exchange for the guilty plea.
The homicide charge was decreased because the killing was unintentional, according to police.
Jamee Husband could face up to 29 years in prison and will be sentenced Oct. 10.
