A man will spend at least 11 months behind bars after a shooting incident that led to a police standoff in February.
Davante Jones, 23, was sentenced Friday in front of Judge John Garhart to spend 11 ½ months to 23 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to recklessly endangering another person in a shots-fired incident in February.
Police said an off-duty officer witnessed a drive-by shooting near the 2700 block of Parade Street before following the car to a home in Glenwood Park where a police standoff started.
Jones received credit for 11 months he has already served. Jones will not be granted parole or work release until he as served another seven months.
