MEADVILLE, Pa. — It was a tense afternoon in Crawford County as police engage a man in a standoff on Tuesday.
State police were called to a home on Moyer Road just after 1 p.m. to check on the welfare of a person.
According to state troopers, the person refused to come out of his house.
A state police special emergency response team went to the scene and the man was eventually taken into custody without incident around 8 p.m.
The person has been taken for mental health evaluation.
