A prison inmate charged for murdering his cell mate will wait longer to go to trial. 26 year old James Scholl will no longer head to trial next month.
Scholl is being charged with homicide, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment for the beating death of his SCI Albion cell mate, 54 year old Theodore Sherlock. Officials ruled Sherlock died of ‘blunt force trauma to the head’.
Police believe an altercation between Scholl and Sherlock resulted in severe head injuries to Sherlock back in 2015.
The Judge has not yet set a new date for Scholl’s trial.
