The streets are open, the stages are gone, and downtown Erie is back to normal after another successful Celebrate Erie.
No official numbers to report quite yet, but the city says there were large crowds each day of the event. The Mayor’s Office attributes that to the new attractions, the weather (of course) and the hard work that goes into planning this event every year.
“I thought it was a great weekend,” says Mayor Joe Sinnott, “we had a lot of great attractions and bands, a lot of people came down here. I think it’s what we set out to do and we did.”
This was Sinnott’s 12th and final Celebrate Erie.
