Meadville Wendy’s Closed by the State

Local News

Orange cones now block access to Wendy’s in Meadville after the state has temporarily closed it.

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services closed it stating several violations including insect and rodent infestation and gross facility and equipment sanitation. According to the Meadville Tribune, the manager of the restaurant had no comment and a call to Wendy’s corporate offices was not returned. The state says the facility will remain closed until its re-inspected and deemed safe to open by the department.
