The Erie Regional Airport Authority is holding off on the enforcement of policies that involve mechanics and who has access to grounds.
The authority and several tenants have been at odds after the airport told aircraft owners that they cannot provide access to unauthorized people, including third-party aircraft mechanics that have not been approved by the airport.
Compliance with the rules could mean increasing insurance coverage.
The authority is currently consulting with the insurance company for risk assessment. The executive director says no changes will be implemented until at least early January.
