Medical marijuana could be grown in Corry as early as February.
Dozens of people filled Corry High School’s auditorium for a public hearing about the proposed medical marijuana facility.
This $10 million, 10 thousand square foot facility, if approved, will be built in Corry Industrial Park in Wayne township.
Erie Access LLC, the group behind this plan, will find out from the state in February or march if one of 25 state growing permits will be issued to them.
Once they have the permit, construction will begin. The marijuana will be made into an oil and produced and sold in tubes to distributors.
