A community forum on methamphetamine will be held tonight at the Girard High School. Several keynote speakers will address how meth. directly impacts a community and what neighbors can do to help stop it. Experts will be on hand to answer any questions.
The forum will also address what tools and resources are available to report suspicious activity and how to get drug treatment help for those who need it most. “We would like to get the information out and help the community be better informed and help remove it from the community and help others to seek treatments,” says Chief Kevin Rafferty, Girard PD.
The community forum is tonight in the Girard High School Auditorium; doors open at six and it’s free and open to the public.
