Millcreek Planning Commission passes Lidl plans

September 6, 2016 – The West Erie Plaza will see more expansion, with a possible new tenant at an existing site.

A new grocery store has been approved by the Millcreek Planning Commission to set up shop in the old Valu King building.

The chain known as Lidl, is a german company looking to expand its footprint into the U.S. market.

The store will be approximately 36,000 square feet.

They see the Millcreek site as a good fit for their business plan.

There are 10,000 Lidl stores in Europe.

The Millcreek Township Supervisors will vote on the development on September 27th.
