Millcreek residents asked to take survey on equipping staffers with weapons at schools

Local News

Local school leaders want to know how you feel about school safety strategies.

Millcreek School District Superintendent, Bill Hall, is asking residents to complete a brief survey about dealing with any possible school shooter situations.  The survey asks, “Would you be in favor of having two or four armed and properly trained district staff members assigned to each school building?  These individuals (not necessarily teachers – could be any trained staff personnel) would be deemed as ‘first responders’ in an active shooter situation.”

If you are a Millcreek resident and you’d like to share your thoughts, you can take the survey yourself by clicking here.
