Millcreek School Board approves raising taxes by 2% next year to make $99 million budget

It’s going to cost more for Millcreek taxpayers to not only educate children but to try to keep them safe too.

School Board members okaying a $99 million budget for next school year that would raise taxes 2%.  That would add about $27 for every $100,000 of a home’s value.  Part of those expenses will include security upgrades like shatterproof glass and, if approved, a cinder block wall between buildings.
