The Millcreek School Board passes a proposed final budget in a special meeting Thursday afternoon.
According to board president John DiPlacido, the budget totals $94.8 million and does include a tax increase that would tack on an additional $19 in taxes for every $100,000 a home is worth.
This proposed final budget also cuts three personnel jobs, as well as the Montessori and alternative education programs in the district, saving a combined $1.4 million.
The final budget is expected to be voted on in May.
