Millcreek Township okays a plan to spend hundreds of thousands of federal dollars.
Township Supervisors tonight voting to approve a comprehensive plan for Community Development Block Grants. This plan outlines Millcreek’s priorities for the next five years. The township receives about 200- thousand dollars a year from this program. Supervisors also approved their one year action plan laying out how CDBG money will be spent in 2018.
“In the coming year, our priority will be improving accessibility across the township. Also annually, we also provide senior services through our public services department,” said Millcreek Township Supervisor John Morgan.
The five year comprehensive plan now goes to the department of housing and urban development for approval.
