Missing woman’s body found in Ashtabula, police suspect foul play

Local News

A missing woman’s body has been identified by authorities.

The Ashtabula County Sheriff is confirming that a body found there Tuesday belongs to a woman who has been missing for two weeks.  23-year-old Rand Hahil Al Dulaimi has been missing since July 11th.  She was last seen near the home of her 28-year-old estranged husband, Jeffrey Stanley, who is now in jail on a parole violation.

Her body was discovered in a wooded area off of North Bend Road in Saybrook Township.  Sheriff William Johnson tells Action News that no cause of death has been determined, but it is being treated as suspicious.

A family friend told a Cleveland television station that she knew something was wrong because Al Dulaimi had left her two-year-old son, Omar, behind.
