More than a dozen medical incidents are treated every day at the Crawford County Fair.
Emergency responders treated 20 medical calls Saturday with three people transported to medical facilities.
On Sunday, 14 medical calls were treated with two people transported to medical facilities. And on Monday, there were 17 calls and no one was transported, according to Meadville Area Ambulance Service Chief Eric Henry.
Henry said majority of those calls are related to the heat and bee stings.
“Definitely hydrate,” Henry said. “If you’re allergic to bees, make sure you have your EpiPen with you or stay away from the lemonade stands because there’s a lot of bees around them.”
Henry also said if you’re heading to the fair to wear proper attire, especially proper shoes.
