Mother of murder victim files lawsuit against suspected killer (victim’s husband)

Local News

After the tragic death of Amanda Grazioli, family members are angry and they’re fighting back.

Amanda’s Mother, Denise Katz, filed a wrongful death suit against John Grazioli, who allegedly confessed to Amanda’s murder.  Katz’s Attorney, Adam Barrist, tells us the suit charges Grazioli of five counts including negligence, wrongful death, and battery.  He also says that they are seeking at least $50,000 per count.

In a statement from Barrist, he says:

“…it’s very important that Amanda’s killer be held accountable on another front in civil context for the conscience-shocking act of shooting his wife in cold blood. It is difficult to envision a more cowardly and ungodly act than shooting and killing one’s own wife, especially one as brilliant, beautiful and full of life as Amanda… While it will be difficult to put a dollar figure on what Mr. Grazioli took from Amanda and her family, I’m very much looking forward to taking the case before the Erie County jury to see what they think. I wish I could go before that jury tomorrow.”
