National Fuel raises prices, rates still at a 10-year-low; reminds customers of LIHEAP

Local News

If you are a National Fuel customer, the cost of heating your home is going up.

The quarterly adjustment to gas supply charges is raising the cost of gas by a little more than 2%.  That works out to be about $1.50 more per month for the average home.  Even so, the rates are still at 10-year lows due to additional supplies of shale gas.

This also marks the opening of LIHEAP, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.  To see if you qualify for those federal dollars, you can call 1-877-443-2743.  And, for more information, you can go to www.LIHEAPhelps.com.
