The new deal will make PNC the “official bank” of Nascar and will create opportunities for the company to offer financial services to various teams, drivers and Nascar administrators. PNC CEO William Demchak says the deal is driven by the bank’s efforts to create a stronger, more recognized national brand. The deal is for five years. No word on what the agreement cost.
