A long-time former clothing store in Downtown Meadville is getting a new lease on life.
Back in the 50’s it was Printz’s Men’s Store and in recent years, a restaurant and bar. This historic building is about to open, now, as The Woolen Mill tomorrow at 10am.
The name harkens back to the 1800’s when wool mills operated there. Two Meadville sisters, Sue and Sandy Wycoff, are opening the store at the corner of Park Avenue and Chestnut Street. They have renovated the buliding for their new clothing store, while maintaining it’s historic charm.
The Woolen Mill will carry an eclectic collection of high-quality clothing for women and men.
While the Woolen Mill will have a soft opening tomorrow, a grand opening and ribbon cutting is planned for June 22.
