New ‘Trouble in Toyland’ report lists unsafe toys that may be on your child’s holiday wish list

Pennsylvania’s Auditor General says more has to be done to make sure that toys found on store shelves this holiday season are safe for kids. 

Auditor General Eugene DePasquale on hand for the release of the 33rd annual ‘Trouble in Toyland’ report that identifies toys that can be dangerous to children.  Some of the toys have unsafe chemicals and others are choking hazards. 

And, one of the latest dangers is smart toys that could get access to sensitive family information.  An expert says, “It is now very clear that this information is not 100% secure anywhere let alone in the hands of a child”.
