Judge Shad Connelly is re-sentencing Ricardo Noble to 40 years to life in prison. Noble was convicted of second-degree murder at 15 years old and tried as an adult. After his alleged involvement in the shooting death of Richard Stevens back in 1991. After a supreme court ruling stating that minors cannot be sentenced to life in prison, he has been re-sentenced.
Today, Noble’s family members are testifying on his behalf, saying he’s a good man, but the prosecution says he’s gotten into several altercations during his two decades behind bars and has little remorse.
Noble now has 14 years left until he is up for parole.
