Northwestern schools host hurricane disaster relief

Donations are being accepted for the recent Hurricane victims in Texas and Florida.  There will be donation boxes set up at Northwestern schools for children to drop off their non-perishable items.

Donations can also be dropped off at the old Dollar Store starting the week of September 12th from 10am-7pm, Tuesday through Friday and 12pm-4pm on Saturday.

A fund has been set up at Andover Bank. Donations can be dropped off at the Borough Office, Dollar Store, and the Andover Bank.

The following items would be greatly appreciated:

Canned food items, boxed pasta, cereal, cases of water, paper towels, toilet tissue, paper plates, plastic forks, spoons, knives, kleenexes, cleaning products, baby diapers, baby wipes and all non-perishable items for babies, shampoo, toothpaste, bath soap, deodorant, razors, first aid products such as band-aids, ointment, etc.

Additional items needed:

Walkers, crutches, adult diapers
