Local News

The spring season appears to be taking a bite out of this year’s brutal flu season.

The latest numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show there are fewer people heading to the doctor with flu-like symptoms.  But, hospitalizations for the flu remain high.  For the seventh week in a row, there was a decrease in the number of doctor visits for the flu.
