One suspect formally arraigned today in fatal shooting case of David Tate

Trial is set for a man charged in a fatal Erie shooting.  

David Dalton returned to the Erie County Courthouse for his formal arraignment this morning.  Dalton is accused of firing a gun in the shooting that killed 28-year-old David Tate and wounded another man. 

The crime happened in the 1200 block of East 20th Street on June 29th last year.  Three other defendants are also charged in the incident.  

Dalton’s trial is scheduled for January 14th.
