ERIE, Pa. — The owners of Erie’s biggest haunted attraction are hoping to get the go-ahead from the city to open for business.
Eeriebyss, located at 1053 W. 12th St., was shut down earlier this week after failing to meet city code requirements.
On Friday, the owners filed their plans with the city and are now waiting for approval to reopen.
Code enforcement had told Eeriebyss that until they had a code compliant set of plans approved by the state, they couldn’t open this season.
Eeriebyss opened its doors for one weekend before being shut down.
