‘Paws’ and Claus a picture-purrfect success

Local News

Humans aren’t the only ones visiting with Santa.  Beasts of all kinds and their best friends made their way to the Humane Society for a holiday treat.

All animals were welcome at the Humane Society for Paws and Claus.  For just $10 (all proceeds donated) dogs, cats and other pets could get their photo’s taken with Santa.  Owners also enjoyed interactive activities with their furry friends.

Humane Society Executive Director, Nicole Bawol, tells us, “We’re really excited because our Santa this year is Rob Culbertson who works with Erie Animal Enforcement and we have a really great relationship with the city so we’re really excited to have him on board as our Santa this year”.

Organizers say they’ve seen a wide range of animals, including rats, pigs and lizards.
