PayPal offers cash advances of up to $500 to government shutdown employees

PayPal says it will help workers impacted by the government shutdown.  The online payments company plans to offer cash advances of up to $500 for federal employees to help pay for food, gas, and other everyday necessities.  

PayPal’s CEO says the company is “proud to stand with so many other great companies to offer assistance to our government workers who contribute so much to our public sector.”
