One person is seriously injured after being struck by a car overnight.

Calls went out just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday for a pedestrian struck in the 500 block of E. 9th St. Once on the scene, first responders found a woman who had been struck by a car.

She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. There is no word on her condition at this time.
