CLYMER, N.Y. — A new thrill ride will give Peek’n Peak visitors a bird’s-eye view.
Peek’n Peak Resort officials announced its newest attraction on Monday: Soaring Eagle Zipline.
The two-seat ride will hoist riders 130 feet into the air and descend them, traveling up to 40 mph both directions.
The new addition is described as a year-round, family attraction.
“The other thing about Soaring Eagle is that it works in the wintertime, too,” Nick Scott said. “So, skiers will be able to take a break from skiing, and ride this and see skiers going underneath them. So, it’s going to add a lot of excitement to the winter skiing.”
The Soaring Eagle Zipline will be located near the Sugar Shack.
It’s expected to open by Memorial Day weekend.
